Captured this Pokemon ... With some help from a friend
« on: July 25, 2016, 05:21:02 PM »
Perusing C/L. Peeked into nearby CL. Just cuz. Thought I saw a gem. Sent a quick text to G$ who lives in Tux, 2 hours away. He verified my vision, and promptly ordered me to make contact & he would be on the seller's doorstep an hour later. I did, he did, and approx. 2 weeks later here is finished product, and first cook pics. Spatchcock turkey on a 26' red flattop! Aided & abetted by G$, thank you very much! Here comes the crazy part. $40

Sorry no pre-cleanup shots, or post-cook pics, but, it needed some TLC, and the bird was good!
It's all about the meat!

Wow! Nice catch!  Someday I will catch on of these.   For now, I look at my kids catching Pokemons on their cell phone.
