Healthy Hoss
« on: May 31, 2016, 04:49:06 PM »
Well my version of it anyways. Had a little spell Sunday morning....in the process got a artery cleaned and a shunt put in. Also got some advice regarding my diet. What I used to avoid....that is lean poultry, fish and veggies....is what I am to be restricted to. Not sure how long I am gonna be recuperating but it will give me a chance to try my hand at this new fangled cookery.

Glad to see you're up and doing well!
There are a bunch of different things you can do, and still do them on the grill, which is the great part.

This cook looks great!

Okay boys @Idahawk  sent me a recipe for grilled watermelon and I got inspired. Shrimp is marinaded in a mix of balsamic, Newman's salad dressing and Mrs Dash Garlic/Herb. Mushrooms are done in a balsamic/Mrs Dash Garlic Herb and the stuff middle front is a mix of honey, lime juice, Mrs Dash Cajun and Ghost Pepper rub which was brushed on the watermelon.

The watermelon was quite good and while I did notice the lack of salt I enjoyed the meal. Still kind of feel like shit and I can't do a whole hell of a lot of anything........but damn....it be good to grill.
