Released into the wild!
« on: March 13, 2016, 11:08:06 AM »
After sitting in a box in some old gentleman's garage for about 40 years, she's finally back where she belongs.

Hopefully the rest of the herd accepts her.

She seems to be blending in nicely [emoji2]

Awesome grab!! I would have to say if that has not been cooked on before, I would have a hard time being the first one to do it. Even being black, I think that one might end up as a "looker" in my house.

I put up a post when I got this grill back in December and the weather is finally nice enough to have all the grills out again.  I had my brother pick this up for me in Naperville, IL.  It also came with a NIB teak veneer side table.  The table is a little dry from the years of sitting on the box, but I'm going to give it a quick treatment with some teak oil and I'll have pics at some point with the two of them together.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Not quite brand new.  It was a funny story.  I found it on Craigslist and called the number in the listing.  His wife told me that he used it a couple of times and then decided he didn't like charcoal so he boxed it up and bought a gas grill.

Mitch,  Congrats!!!  As you know I'm partial to that era of MBHs and you NEVER see a Black early '70s with that great of color or condition.   Yeah, I'm thinking I'd chose it over your new Crimson :)  ;D                        SJ
