new addition to the family
« on: February 23, 2013, 03:01:42 PM »

got her for 100.00. this is the one that was posted as free, then turned up for 225.00. Well the story is, there is a snobish part of Seattle where the rich folks just toss stuff and don't really care, then go buy newer stuff. Well this guy spotted this on CL for free, picked it up and posted for 225.00. He makes his living out of doing this. Anyhow, it is missing the charcoal bin, but no big deal, as I might switch this beauty with a S/S anyways.

Nice pick up Ken.  That looks like new.  You need to start hanging out in this area of Seattle a little more.

as always.....too funny Jeff. but did you notice any shadows in the pic??? A bright yellow object appeared in the sky today. I remember hearing about such a phenomena, but thought it was just ancient lore passed down through the generations......

Still a nice score at $100 and if I remember right you can get the charcoal bin for $14 from Weber.

Nice Performer.

That scuff on the lid edge, looks surprisingly like the one on my blue performer.

Is it me or does the cooking grate look like a much thicker diameter than any I have seen ??
