RK Refurb
« on: January 03, 2016, 01:06:49 AM »
I stripped my RK and wanted to take care of the slightly rusty frame. After stripping, I had the frame sandblasted and then powdercoated.

I also replaced all the hardware that I could with Stainless Steel. The wheels were switched for some newer and better looking models supplied by @hogsy I had also saved a few original timber handles that I cleaned up and oiled. I know thwy aren't period correct but I think they work very well. With the new lid and vents that had been supplied from Weber, I was on my way to Weber Nirvana. 😃😃

I'll let the pictures tell the story.

Before....

After...
