Groovy an 18! :D

Looked at many times,  looks 18, would be easier to if smoothsmoke would have moved some garbage...

Heyjude

I have it on good authority that one of the "Goodfellas" has pulled the caper and has it safely in his possesion. He's so confident, he is on his way to check out another possible "Job"
I can't name any names, but it rhymes with "Luke" Oh yeah, its an old 18, missing one wheel.
Another salvage job for the team! Woohoo!  8)

The Tale of Sigmund the Sealime Kettle................

So I started to walk into the yard. I won't lie to you boys, I

was terrified! :o But I pressed on and as I made my way passed the

plants a strange calm came over me. I don't know if it was divine

intervention or the kinship of all living things but I tell you guys

at that moment I was a Grillfella! 8)

The sea at the harbor was angry that day my friends, like an old man trying to

return soup at a deli!  ???

I got about fifty-feet out and then suddenly the great beast

appeared before me. I tell ya he was ten stories high if he was a

foot. As if sensing my presence he gave out a big bellow. I said,

"Easy little fella!" And then as I watched him struggling I realized

something was obstructing his leg. From where I was standing

I could see directly into the eye of the great 18.5 Sealime kettle!

Then from out of nowhere a huge tidal wave lifted, tossed like a cork and I found myself on top of it face to face with the vent holes. I could barely see from all of the waves crashing down on top of me but I knew something was there so I reached my hand and pulled the leg out of the seaweed only sacrificing it's wheel! :D

Then Dashed!

Stay tuned for part two "The Ballad of an Old Joe"

LOL! You got the one SJ you kicked on the porch! Nice! Double bonus trip. What was in the cooler?

 8)  What can I say, it's gone! and theres nothing we could do about it!  8)
IT IS A GLORIOUS TIME! Nice job! Can't wait to see it after being given the grillfella treatment. I'm gonna take a wild guess, but is it an engraved WEBER vent logo? Mid '70s?

It could ONLY be titled this:

The Tale of Sigmund the Sealime Kettle................

Nice double- whammy !!!!!

The lime's cook grate looks new
( or is that Joe's? ) & the kettle ain't chipped very much at all...the rim of the lid is what I look for 1st.....

I see you have one of those quick draw truck bed covers....

.....for lightening fast getaways.......... 8)
"If you want it fancy there is BBQ spray paint at home depot for that. "
    Covered, damper-controlled cooking.....IF YOU PLEASE !!!
"But the ever versatile kettle reigned supreme"

I love it when a plan comes together.

haha! Seeing that lime covered in twigs and leaves does remind me of some of the "bush" disguises worn by Col. John Hannibal Smith.  ;D
