Low n Slow on the new Cado
« on: August 18, 2015, 12:38:26 AM »
So, for the 1st cook on my new PP Cado I decided to do my version of beer can chicken, vertical, low n slow and high heat at the end to crisp things up.
Here's the setup

Lil Bud lending a hand

Bird rubbed with my version of 17th St. Magic Dust...lil xtra heat. Standing tall in the bathtub

sectioned

Plated with homemade red potato salad and some sweet gherkins

successful 1st cook. thanks for stopping   8)

That looks pretty yummy. Nice combo you have there.
Charcoal rookie, whisky hall-of-famer. Current rig: 3 OTS's acquired second-hand, a Smoke-EZ, Maverick ET-733 and not enough time

"Why do you have so many bbq's?"....."I just like lookin' at em' sometimes....and I have enough purses and shoes"

I can't speak for everybody but I'm inspired - my weekend will now include beer can chicken for sure. Looks delicious and I like the beer choice too.

Cheers -
