So I have to start this with HUGE Props to @SixZeroFour  and @chefn58 without whom I wouldn't have found one of my grails. Matt found the original listing yesterday evening and PM'd chef who in turn PM'd me. I contacted the seller and was good to go with a pick up of this morning. I believe it's a '71-72 Pat Pending, plastic wheels and rubber treads if in fact they are original tires, which they look like they are. The pictures tell the rest of the story. MINIMAL lip rash and only 1 quarter sized chip in the bowl and A little crazing in one spot as well. All the leg and handle welds are solid with no loss of porcelain. Original wood handle is complete too. The lid is nearly perfect, no scratches or chips except minor lip rash. It appears to have the original charcoal grate and has an upgraded hinged cooking grate. Somebody pinch me.....

I haven't done anything to it except fix the legs, it was caddy wampus and loosen 2 of the daisy wheels on the bowl that were stuck. A wipe down with a damp cloth to get rid of what little dirt was on it as well. I cant wait to cook on this beauty.

thanks to   @pbe gummi bear   After a lil elbow grease and some barkeepers friend

That's a really nice one. A tip i recently learned is that 0000 steel wool and barkeepers friend will remove alot of that rust staining.

Thanks to everyone for the thumbs up on this grill. I'm still on cloud nine about how it played out. A little more about the grills history. It's been in one family since new, the seller, Tony was super nice to fill me in. He and his wife have had it for about a dozen years and it was given to them by his father-in-law, who purchased it new. Surprisingly, the grill was never covered but was garage kept when not in use. The reason they let it go is a family move to Fla. and they didn't want to take it with. They are taking their gasser to Fla. I assured him that it was going to a good home and it would be continued to be cooked on and loved as much as they did.
@pbe gummi bear  thx for the tip. I do have barkeepers friend at home and will see how it turns out.
