So I've been on the lookout for a red master touch or performer for some time.  This popped up on Craigslist only a couple miles from my house (I was expected/ willing to drive 50), but I was going to wait it out for a redhead.

As you can see, that didn't happen.  I got the performer and rotisserie setup for $100.  The lady said her husband only used it about 8 times and I believe that might be true and that he never cleaned it either.   Anyways I have a tri tip ready to go on it.   It came with a weight and also an extra handle.  What am I supposed to go with these?

Now THATS a killer deal! The roti alone is worth $100 - Congrats 8) !

The weight you have there is a counterbalance for the spit. Unless your doing a large bird like a Turkey you prob won't need it but def hang onto it just in case!

Extra handle is just a bonus :)

One of The Rotating People now...... 8)

The weight is for counter balance if needed for uneven meats (or vegetables) on the far side from the motor...handle....not sure.....it's always good to have spare parts around, if even just to sell or gift to someone who needs stuff..... ;D

That is a great deal. Anything around $100 or below for a performer is a great deal.

Stunning beef, sir. Nicely played, all around.
It's the iconic symbol for the backyard. It's family/friends, food and fun. What more do you need to feel everything [is] going to be all right. As long as we can still have a BBQ in our backyard, the world seems a bit of a better place. At least for that moment. -reillyranch
