Does the ash ring cover the intakes completely?

Just asking, as it does not on my red P code 18".  I have the older ring and can.

The One-Touch intakes are slightly longer on older 18s as compared to newer 18s.

Not completely, but it's pretty close. I might try some high heat aluminum duct tape.

I did that when the bowl was initially nice and clean.  Just a small piece on each hole on the inside of the bowl.
Eventually time, and the sweepers trashed them.  It was worth a try, but now I just sweep away, and some ash drops down, but no big deal, really.

i dunno. it's a bit difficult to squeeze.
It will be easy to mod, just cut or sand down the edge of the ring where the handle clips in.
I'm going to wait though, as it may get easier to squeeze the more it gets used.

you're not missing anything. its upside down. When I bent the tip of the triangle for the front leg, I bent it the wrong way. Now I'm scared to try to bend it back

I've never done that. But I can't tell you how many times I've put the triangle on upside down. So. Many. Times. That's why I have such a well-trained eye!    Besides looking incredible, what's your use for this grill? Table top? Tailgate?

It will be my beach grill, as well as a grill for my 10 year old daughter to continue her learning on.
