Bud Light On The Go
« on: April 01, 2015, 10:20:07 AM »
So I took the Bud Light 18" that mrbill so gratiously sold me about a month ago and turned it into a killer portable.  Last I showed it I had added wood handles.  Since then I've added a new ash bucket, shortened legs and a lid lock.  Here she is.

Since I have my old (70/71) 18" out back, I though I would get a bit more use out of this if I could take it with me when needed.  Plus I'm sure it'll be quite the conversation piece.

I was asked to measure mine. I took the pictures but I believe I may have failed to pass them on. [emoji15]

Anyhow, here they are now.
My homemade Tuck n Carry:

My N Code Outrider:

When I built the converted 18.5, I had to guess where the holes should go and I drilled them 3 3/8" from the top of the bowl. It works well but I did have to "massage" the lid lock wire to get it tight enough.
Since then I acquired the Outrider, which has the holes 4 1/4" from the bowl top.

McGolden, your mod looks beautiful!
