Speechless!! Hell of a find and a WKC'er after my own heart with the "cooked on it that night!" maneuver.  8)

Just....WOW!!!  :D

That ash catcher (twist disc) had to have been added later on. Between 1963-1979 as a replacement/addition. The Wood Dale 18s/22s from about '58 until '63 had the U-notched swivel clipped ash pans...

OK......this thing's been alive almost as long as me (turned 59 yesterday) and the porcelain's STILL OK IN THE BOTTOM OF THE BOWL !!!!!!

Kettle collector AND cooker!

Hey, it's caddywhampus! I'd ask for my money back.  ;D

Seriously, must be the supermoon effect. The moon's gravity is drawing out the deeply hidden ones and making people crazy enough to give them away! Can't wait to see this one cleaned up. And thanks for giving us all hope...they're out there!

Charrederhead !!!!!!

This is almost too much on the same day as the Meat kettle !!!!

That's a lifetimer right there.....immediately into service....I like that.... 8)

Pinch yourself just one more time for me !!!

Yeah,  a couple of classics on the same day!

Prefer that pinch come from you, assuming that avatar is your likeness!  8)

Btw- Happy birthday! I'm hoping the grill was born in '56, like me.

Thanks for that info. I hadn't noticed the ashpan particulars on that '57 sky-blue beauty.

Good to know I'm not the only circa '56 member here! With buckie just ahead of us, looks like we're the elders - or at least the codgers. Is there anyone older among us? My birthday was Friday the 8th. I too would love to find a '56 kettle someday.

Alright Marty! Go '56!

Here's to:

Seasoned veterans....wise elders...OLD and stupid...young at heart...older and dumber...grizzled gramps...    ;)
