grate work, jc!  I'm sure that required a lot of careful measurements and even more careful drilling!

No lid support. With my stubby legs I can still use my lid hook.

Months ago I started this thread:

http://weberkettleclub.com/forums/weber-kettles-accessories/tuck-n-carry-(sjp)-conversion-should-i-drill-holes/15/

I have had the parts together for some time. Today I put it all together and took some pictures.

A legless kettle with a ld lock?

What's inside? Legs, ash pan and grates!

More stuff in the basement!

The best parts!

All together and ready to cook.

The fire restrictions have been lifted on the Sitgreaves NF. This baby is going with me on my next trip to the mountains!

Would you be able to tell me where you got the bar for the lid lock?  I would love to make one of these.

Thanks!

JDD

I like it, I like it a lot! I wouild like to try this with a 22. The lid lock bar would be a problem though.

It would be hard to bend one up. I made one up for my mini WSM

Awesome job on the mod by the way!!! It looks stock
I'm only 2 or 3 kettles away from being that creepy guy down the street with all the Webers

Mr.CPHo

@jcnaz, could you please measure how far down from the bowl's rim you drilled?
