Gunner, if you want a leg cap, I'll pop one in the mail to you.
White or black ?

Thanks for looking out DirectDrive! I actually have some somewhere...I just have to find them  :o Speaking of, I have found the black ones, but where do you get the white ones from?

Ace has them usually stocked next to the black ones in their fastener aisle.

I forgot to ask, what did you use on the top vent? It doesn't look scratched like steel wool does.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!...Duke, I did use steel wool on the top vent. I will have to look, but I think it was 000 grade? I have never noticed any scratching on the vents on any of my cleanups using it..
Okay, maybe I need a finer steel wool. I'll get some, thanks for getting back to me.

Fantastic clean-up!! Looks beautiful!  :D 8)

Nothing wrong with Brian's handles ... I have already ordered two sets of 3 in the past.
But, it appears that the original handle could have been saved or salvaged. A couple three coats of spar varnish.
However, I could be wrong ... been known to happen.  :o ;)

I also found this brand of leg caps. Nice fit.  :)

Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.
