What's going on with the site?
« on: March 11, 2014, 02:01:03 PM »
The Chicano Kettle Meet picture is taking up a large portion of the top of the screen. I can barely see the search words and it's covering half of my post. ???

Had the same issue as Duke on the laptop, but the Shift-Refresh did the trick.

No idea how to clear that up on the ipad though.
I've always had gas...  And now a bunch of kettles because of this place.  Thanks!

i'm going to resize it tonight. sorry ipad users :)

if things are overlapping on ipad, you'll probably have to clear cache.

this is a separate item, but it's been happening almost the whole time since the new heading was started:

On the main page, for nine items deep & three columns across are E-Bay listings of Smokey Joe stuff.....OVERLAPPING the heading & quite aways into whatever the 1st story is.......

It 1st happened when I clipped across the "Menu" red bar that was at the top......

This is IE, doesn't do it with FireFox......."use FireFox, dummy", you say?
I'm old, grumpy, set in my ways, etc. & plus, what if someone who is just stopping by for the 1st time gets this?

Don't really know how to un-do it & can't seem to get a screen shot of how goofy it looks, for your viewing pleasure........ :o ::)

Yeah, thanks, man........ I'm all Chromium & shit, too......just that I really have a thing about how all kinds of websites & "user-friendly" apparatus has everything "hidden" until you click or drag across is nowadays......"just stick it out there where I can see it & not forget your silly feature is even there, folks"......yeah, that's my motto.....from here on out, that's my motto...... 8)

It worked, now I can see a clearer picture of the Chicano meet up without overlapping. Thanks!
