Vintage half moon warming grate.  Not sure of exact dates of manufacture, but believed to be 70's era:

Weber 3200 warming grate:

In an ongoing relationship with a kettle named Bisbee.

Weber 72825 Charcoal Barbecue BBQ Rapidfire `V` Grate for 57cm kettles

Refresh my memory, is that the charcoal grate or the grill grate?

Charcoal grate but I thought this thread would be a good place for them. Firestarters sit in the "V" I also find it interesting that there is a double rod to reinforce it.

Cooking grates with large "trap door" for charcoal:

Yeah, pretty sure it will fit.....can't see the name on there, but I've used a Kingsford's grill that's exactly like it & they're the same as Weber...........

It may also have one of those goofy grates on it ~~~>

I found this today lurking in my cupboard. I bought it a while ago and stashed it away.

And I knew I had one when Hogsy asked about it. I just neglected to look in the cupboard and checked my other stash!

Yep, looks like a weber cast iron. They must have used the same cast iron grate as was available for the weber gasser. Same piece I use in my kettle I took off my old silver B.

Would like to start a thread about the various cooking grates and cooking grate accessories made by both Weber, as well as aftermarket grates sold to be used on the Weber.  This information would be useful to have in the reference library.  Please limit posts and replies to the subject matter and use PMs, or start a separate thread if you want to discuss information outside of the subject matter.  Include model numbers and manufacturers where possible so that others will know where to source.

Thanks,

Winz

Here a a searing grate that came with a ss performer that I purchased off craigslist.  Not sure if it is made by Weber.  The center of the grate is cast iron in a rectangle pattern and is removable.  The sides of the grate hinge upward to enable the addition of fuel while cooking.  The cradle for the cast iron is recessed so that the cast iron bars sit level with the remainder of the grate:

With the hinged "wings" up:

With the searing grate removed:

The Performer I have came with the CI Sear grate and grate holder, it was well used and the nickel plating on the holder was completely flaked off. I used a wire wheel brush to clean it up and sprayed it down with Pam.  The grate holder as was the CI sear grate was discontinued by Weber, but I was able to snag one of 6 BNIB holders offered by a member on the TVWBB site years ago.

The porcelain coated CI grates from the Genesis B-C fit the insert so its good to go for any replacement grates.

I cook on: Backwoods Gater, Lang 36, Hunsaker Smokers, Pellet Pro 22" WSM, BGE's, WSM's, Cajun Bandits, PK Grills, Drum Smokers, Genesis Silver C, Weber Q's, Cookshack 008, Little Chief, La Caja China #2, Lodge Sportsman...oh yeah! Weber Kettles! Kamado restoration and pit modification hack!

Char-Broil 7315453 Char-Broil Universal Cast Iron Kettle Grates. Fits 22.5 inch kettles.

$30 at Amazon. I'm happy with it.

Don't forget the center section of this grate fits an 18.5 perfectly. (At least it did in a trial-run at a MA meetup last fall.) It's like a two-for-one deal.

Much has happened since 2015 ^^.

In particular, two new companies have emerged offering stainless steel grates. Please refer to each respective web site and/or search threads on WKC for more information/current information.

Very special hat-tips to both companies here! To ABC, for offering grates helpful for their popular SnS, and to Killa Grills, for both their take on the "one-flip" style grate and for single-handedly helping keep alive the 26 flat top and SJP kettles, in a way that improves on the original grates.

Adrenaline Barbecue Company, http://abcbarbecue.com/product-category/accessories/

I believe these are the part numbers for "standard" cooking grates from Weber:

Weber 7431 = Smokey Joe nickel no hinge

Weber 7432 = 18.5 nickel grate, no hinge
Weber 7433 = 18.5 nickel grate, hinged

Weber 7435 = 22.5 nickel grate, no hinge
Weber 7436 = 22.5 hinged nickel grate
Weber 3070784 = 22.5 stainless steel hinged grate
Weber 8835 = 22.5 nickel “Gourmet” hinged grate with removable round center

Weber 63039 = 26.75 stainless steel hinged grate

@Winz I'm going to add a couple more here,

Weber 80730 - 18.5 stainless steel hinged grate
Weber 7431 = Smokey Joe Silver/Gold/Premium nickel grate
Weber 8843 = 21.5 stainless steel GBS (thanks Jules V.)

And there's an SS version of the GBS for European 18.5" (47cm) kettles (part#??)
