WSM 22.5
« on: January 03, 2014, 07:04:24 PM »
Picked up a WSM 22.5 off of craigslist tonight for 150.00 he was asking $200.  Looks like it is from 2009 Or 2010.  I think I did alright. Looks like they mostly just used it as a grill and not a smoker.

Sounds like a great deal. I would LOVE to be able to get a 22" WSM for anywhere near that price here. :-)

Yeah checking around online now and seems like I got a really good deal.  This thing is close to new with just a few cooks.  He said he just never used it.

Ramcharger that's the same price I picked my 22 up for. Good deal on that one!

That's a great price! It's what I paid for mine which was missing the cover. WSM's come up very seldom on CL here even though we usually have lots of kettles. Usually the folks that have them keep them. For comparison, there is an 18 new (but older model) listed locally for $225. There's an NIB 22 listed for $350. Of course neither may sell for that price. Even $200 would be a decent price.

Great deal.  These things really hold temp I cooked a brisket overnight a few weeks ago when the outside temp was 27. My WSM held 260 overnight.
