Cool! Thanks for showing the undercarriage! On those sockets , Zorknards '56 22 has the same style leg sockets. I'm curious how that style was welded to the bowl. Look forward to seeing it all shiny again!

I don't believe yours is a 56 because the vent code would be a Chicago not wood dale. Craig probably can give a better age


That triangle ash pan has me thinking this is a 1957 model at the latest. Maybe '58 on the high side. Who knows if 18's stayed with triangle pans for another year after the 22's changed to the early clipped pans. One more puzzle to solve.

Those welded leg sockets are very similar to the front leg socket of the Yellow Ranger.  And that was a 1965 grill.

The old sockets were a piece of round pipe welded onto the bowl. It was before the style with the three tabs was invented. Zork's is the same.
