How much would you pay for a set of nice wooden handles
« on: September 07, 2012, 06:45:08 AM »
I found a Go Anywhere Gas model that was in new/ never used condition at a local junk store. It wasn't in the box and the regulator/hose assembly was missing. What caught my eye about it though were the wooden handles, it was a promotional grill with "Weber ---  Marlboro" on them. I'm not a smoker and don't have any need/want for a Go Anywhere Gas model. I do however have a WSM 22.5 smoker and the thought of Marlboro handles on my "smoker" does make me grin, is $20 too much for your own personal amusement? If I can get them down to $10 I may have to lock it down. Would WGA handles even fit a WSM?

I say go for it! There's been a few of the 'Marlboro' handled GA's showing up on eBay lately and their usually going for $50 plus.

Eastex you might have to slightly modify your handles.  The ones I make fit with a very slight modification.  I can show you if you want me to, that is if you get the handles.
