Cheese and wine (Kraft logo kettle)
« on: August 02, 2013, 03:51:41 PM »
I saw this pop up on CL yesterday at work, sent a text and arranged to pick it up this morning.  When i got there, the seller says i'm glad you got here as there is a waiting list, there was someone that said they would pay more and they were only 15min away. The seller said that someone was going to buy it (me ;D) and if they backed out (ya right ::)) they would be next in line, they sent another text saying they were 10 min away, the seller said no you will have to wait.

The seller said they had no idea what they had considering the response they got, but it's mine now ;D
Here she is in the truck for the ride home.

At home.

And the vent shot!

Nice score. I am personally not a fan of logo kettles  but maybe because I haven't found one with a brand I have identity with. If they made a Paiste, Springfield Armory, Colt, DW Drums, or maybe a Shun I would be all over it.

This one is a cool color. Good work :D

He did good by holding it until you got there. I had what I thought was a sure deal on a C&B performer last night, I was going to meet him today in the afternoon until the seller sent me a email stating he just got an offer he "could not refuse" !!!!!!

There had been one of these listed in Oklahoma on CL

That is how it is done ... The seller gives / sells it to the first person who shows genuine interest.
Some follow up ... then the deal is sealed.

Nice score! And, I must say ... that is a cool colour. And it's a 22, not an 18, which most logoed kettles are, I have noticed.  :)
Q: How do you know something is bull$h!t?
A: When you are not allowed to question it.

1911Ron-
That's really a neat grill.  Now you need to order a 3-pack from Zavod.  That thing would look awesome with a set of dark-walnut handles!

By the way, I see your point about a Colt logo'd grill, but I'd prefer an Ed Brown logo myself.    ;)
Interested in ANY offset handle SJs you may have.

It's nice when the sellers believe in Karma. You were the first to respond, so ...

Good job!

That red is a sweet enough color to overlook a Kraft logo IMO. Put on some sweet zavdles and your set!  :D
