My first tri tip
«
on:

Finally got to fire up a grill yesterday. My first time since moving to California two weeks ago. I thought it was only appropriate that the first cook be the elusive California tri tip.
It was freaking incredible.
Grilled with some baby bok choy and white corn.
Here's my backyard.

Wow, beautiful space, and tri tip. Nothing like a nice garden to sit, relax, and eat.

Nice Troy. Now you just have to fill it up with grills! Good to see (hear, read) you're up and running. I hope all went well with the move.

Very nice ... the food and the backyard!
I like how you used the word "elusive" for the tri tip ... I ain't ever seen that up here ...

Words cannot describe the change of happiness level.
Right now the stress of settling in and trying to kickass at my new job (and trying to budget so i can afford my insane rent) is still consuming me.
But I'm super excited to kick ass at my new life and the potential that surrounds me

Sounds great Troy - wishing you all the best out there, and will admit to being a little envious. Now change that location tag on your profile and add a new photo with you wearing a Hawaiian shirt or something. I mean, c'mon man, chill out for Gods sake - you live in Cali now.

Hey California boy!
I'm glad to hear you are settling in. The food looks great and it must provide some solace to fire up a kettle.

Wow, I can see why you need a Hammock. That yard is screaming for one.
The great thing is that you will be using it for almost the whole year!
Welcome to Cali!
