Early Collection Pics
« on: October 10, 2023, 06:33:42 AM »
Timeline:  Mid December 2019

I remember being so very proud of my "collection" and wondering if this was a little overkill having this many grills.  I also remember happening upon a sale on Royal Oak charcoal and buying what I thought would be enough for the coming year.  I don't think I'd ever bought more than one bag of charcoal at a time lol.... Oh how naive I was.

Just wanted to say how much I appreciate all the wonderful members here and the information and tips you've shared.  Looking forward to seeing your cooks and kettles and sharing what I can as we all learn and enjoy this hobby.

Cheers!

And I learned that these things tend to multiply.....Took that Jumbo Joe to the beach a couple weeks ago.  I think I gave $20 for it.

I thought I recalled that yours had blossomed in relatively short time. They tend to do that 🤣

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

4 years between first and 2nd!   Similar for me.  I bought a brand new black one touch gold in 2013, added an 18 wsm in 2015 as I got into bbq.  In 2017, I found the WKC and I’m still trying to find the antidote, lol.

Great post idea - here's my 2010 collection.  Still have 1 of the 26 flattops and the jumbo joe.  Added quite a few more over the years, but sold most off - then started adding again.
