Blue 18.5 OTG - formerly Foster's logo

A few weeks ago, I picked up a blue 18.5 OTG and set it aside.  Over Memorial Day weekend, I started swapping over the long-leg setup I had on my WW Rockin' K and saw something interesting . . .



Not sure if the logo was removed or just faded away, but there definitely was a logo at some point.  Anyway, here it is in tall-boy trim next to the Rockin' K and in formation with the Memorial Day cookers.

Nice find!  Interesting about the logo fading, been removed?  There has been discussions about removal (if possible) and damaging the porcelain  underneath and as far as I know there was no clear consensus on if it could be done.
