Birthday Goodies
« on: December 17, 2022, 12:30:54 PM »
My wife came through with some pretty nice goodies for me this year.  Custom cutting board large enough for a full packer, whole standing prime rib roast or a turkey, a rib hanger for the 22” WSM and a bottle of private barrel uncut Elijah Craig.  Trying a little sip now.

It had more of a bite at first than I was prepared for.  A few small sips later the sweetness and oak notes became present and it was really enjoyable.  This one is for sipping only so we'll probably have a little on New Years while spinning the prime rib.  Looking forward to that....  Ooh maybe a cigar as well.

maybe let it breath a bit in the glass, sometimes it will smooth it out a bit, New years plans sound good, nice cigar especially
