When your Secret Santa comes all the way from Plainfield Indiana to bring you a gorgeous blue 18” kettle you gotta consider yourself a pretty lucky guy.  Thank you @michaelmilitello for an amazing gift!  I feel like a little kid at Christmas….

Santa just dropped off a stash of Chicago area rubs and sauces. Can’t wait to try these out with my grill buddy, as soon as we get a warm spell. Thanks Karl, and Happy New Year Everybody!

Thanks to my SS JEBIV for hooking an old man UP. 2 6 packs of local beer from Tucker Brewing in Tucker Georgia, an awesome Cuisinart grinder to mix my own rubs. Along with a roll of Georgia Peach butcher paper. But the handle from the SE meetup is the shit. Sorry, no pics unless someone else want to load them. Thanks so much to Joe and Tami. Happy Holidays.

Wings seasoned with Oak Ridge Santa Maria, over a Vortex of JD XL bricks and hickory chips. Haven't done these in a while. Im gonna miss OakRidge Co.! Finished with BBQ King Spicy Sweet and Pineapple Habanero sauces from my Secret Santa.
And cookies for my aspiring grill buddy, Daisy. You had to have seen that coming.

Yesterday I seasoned up some ground beef with the BBQ King brisket and steak rub I got from my Secret Santa and made burgers. Cooked on my Jumbo Joe and table combo. It was a pretty day outside, just cold. Served with fries, some homemade whiskey river sauce and a glass of homemade lemonade.

Thanks to @nvandyke for these nice SS gifts, late posting as life has been a little whirlwind lately. Wore the shirt already, we will definitely enjoy the hot sauces, and I'm ready for a nice cask strength bourbon in the new glasses !!

bladz looks good!   The original had a good 53+ years.

This aristocrat is all about what is best about the WKC.  The kettle was a trade with Kneab     The handle was a secret Santa with bladz and the ash pan was from Bertl via Jeff     Into its 2nd half century, this kettle still cooks like a dream.
