I tend to follow Weber's recommended guide for charcoal use.  Here's a useful guide from Weber I use to refresh my memory as I suffer from CRS (can't remember shit). It even breaks down the difference in charcoal use between regular briquettes and Weber briquettes if your lucky enough to have some or can still source them.

Does this mean the Weber briquettes are discontinued?  I could've sworn I saw Canadian Tire start selling them this spring.

They’re still on Weber’s Canadian site for $22.99 CAD for a 20 lb bag.

The first thought I had was to jump in the car later and see if the local Canadian Tire had any still since I saw some about a week ago, but I decided to check their website and there it is:

https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/weber-100-natural-hardwood-charcoal-briquettes-for-bbq-grilling-in-resealable-bag-20-lb-0854227p.html#plp

$22.99 as you mentioned.  All the stores listed near me have stock.  Inventory ranges from 3 bags in some stores, 7 bags on hand at the one near me all the way up to 138 at another store that's not that much of a drive from here.  I guess this is still a current product for Weber here, for now.

Weber briquettes were discontinued in the US a few years ago. Still for sale in other markets, like Canada and Europe. My remaining stash is down to 5-6 bags from a peak of 18. Based on recommendations, I'll either switch to B+B or Royal Oak Chef's Select (I have a local source). Sorry for the hijack.

Sure enough, Canadian Tire had Weber briquettes in stock when I went this afternoon so I bought a bag along with a bag of Royal Oak since I seem to be going through a lot of that recently.  Whether or not Weber discontinues their briquettes here is going to come down to sales so the best thing anyone can do here is buy and use it.
