New life for what was to be given away...
« on: April 26, 2022, 09:35:00 AM »
So wifey says to me she says, "what are you gonna do with that black grill?"
"I listed it and there were no takers," I say.
"Well do something with it or maybe just put it on the curb," she says.
So I says to wifey I says, "oh....I got an idea. Don't you worry...."

So I shorten each leg

place the perfectly sized ash pan in place

and now I have a new E code fire pit lol

Very functional !
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Cool idea!  It actually looks at first glance like something that would be in an old Weber catalog.  Does it seem stable?

Stable enough.
Just have to make sure it's set right before lighting anything and all should be well.

Yes it does!  I still think your wife is going to have the same opening question for you in a few months....  ; )

Nice! I turned my old 22” into a shorty fire pit as well when the wife questioned it’s purpose after acquiring some other grills.
