Performer Kettles have brackets with bolt holes welded on their sides.  Anyplace to get those brackets?

We can make this happen if there is enough interest. I know a guy that knows a guy that knows a guy.  8)

I just got off the phone to Weber C/S the supervisor stated that the only way those brackets leave the factory is welded on kettle bottoms.

Do we have FRIENDS at Weber?

Well, the best way to get them is to swipe them off an old bowl that is rusted out.
I would think that they could be made by someone if they wanted to go to that much trouble.
Are you looking at converting a non Performer bowl into one?  8)

I read you loud & clear but why make them if we could buy them?  Should be relatively easy to make - just right angle brackets.

They are a complicated part.  They conform to the bowl on one side and are flat on the other.  The bowl is a compound curve and there is actually a notch for clearance as well.  Very complicated.  What are you doing that you needed these brackets?

I am thinking of 3 brackets each about 1"wide spaced at 120* around a kettle and put into my cart

:o if that were my cart I would plop a OTP bowl into it. They don't have things popping out. Very nice cart! More pics please!
