Not quite back to normal but 135k fans, good weather, and a great finish made for an awesome day.  Great day with my son, our 8th 500 together.

Sounds like a great day spent with your son at an iconic Motorsport event. I hope one day to attend the 500 and an F1 event.

Have you attended an F1 race?

I’ve been to one Indy car race at Laguna Seca, four Long Beach Grand Prix  and six at  Phoenix Raceway. It was always a great time. I worked for a company that would provide us with in race pit passes. Nothing like being on pit row during a race.

Cool pictures and thank you for sharing!!!

Cheers

Thanks.  I went to the US Grand Prix in 01, 02, 03, 04, and 06.   I’ve been an F1 fan since the 80s.  I miss the v10s!   That was my 12th 500.  I would not miss it for almost anything.

It's been a while since I've been to Indy, but I did watch this one on TV and was happy as hell to see Helio get number 4. I saw him drive for Hogan in Milwaukee prior to joining Penske and have been a fan of his since.
I was there when Roger introduced the "Pushrod Panzer".
One day I'll take my adult boys so they can see it too.
