Big rib-eyes
« on: October 24, 2020, 05:57:13 PM »
2 rib-eyes, each 2” thick and more than 2.5lbs. Seasoned with Malcom’s AP rub and cooked with a reverse sear on my Summit gasser. Served with baked potatoes and Brussels sprouts also cooked on the Summit. Delicious.

How long do the potatoes typically take? Assuming they're cooked indirect?

Wrapped in foil, I cook potatoes over direct medium heat and they take about 1 hour.

That's not a steak. That's a roast...

A perfectly cooked roast...

Now that’s a steak!  Looks like they had great marbling. Nice cook!

Beautifully done. Nice grill marks too. Ribeye is me favorite steak.

Looks great! Potatoes are perfect in the 205-210 internal temp range.
