I agree that grill marks alone are overrated.
But with my CI grates and a hot bed of coals I can get both at once. Sear and grill marks,

That's some fine lookin cookin right there.

Is it just me or do those peppers taste so much better when they start to turn reddish? I always loved my jalapenos when they were picked late and turning.
It's not GRILLING that makes you old.
It's NOT grilling that makes you old.

I agree 100%. I love when the peppers begin to turn red. They taste more peppery I think
