Metal Wheel Restoration Guide
« on: September 14, 2020, 09:17:21 AM »
I had planned on writing this article this coming winter.  My timeline was accelerated due to all the fires here in California.  I've been locked up in the house due to dangerous air quality outside so here you go. The guide is now live so get going on restoring your metal wheels.

Excellent write up on restoring metal wheels.
I currently don’t own a metal wheel kettle, but great tutorial and pictures.

Wow, what a transformation.  I own only one grill with the original metal wheels.  Luckily, they are in great condition so I keep this one inside.  Awesome process, I shook my head when I saw the rust holes.  Can't believe how nice they look now!

Thank you so much for this write up. I have been working on my wheels for the past month, and I finally finished them tonight. I followed your advice for each step, and I am really happy with how they turned out. The only thing I did differently is I printed a vinyl sticker for the white walls because I didn’t think I could paint them and have it look very good. Thank you so much for sharing your methods.
