Reaching out to others who know webers.
« on: September 06, 2020, 06:18:50 PM »
My name is Horace I live in Niceville, Florida. I was referred to this group by another group. I have a crazy hobby of refurbishing Webers, really any Weber.   A couple years ago I was diagnosed with a hereditary disease called Huntington's disease.  Basically my brain is dying, however I am alive and well so I press on. So my doctor suggested I find a hobby to keep my hands and my mind busy and that I should rebuild a car. Well, I don't change my own oil so I had to find something else. So I decided one day to fix my old Weber Silver A. My neighbor seen it, liked it and asked me to fix his. Since 2018 I have refurbished at the least 250 Webers of all kinds. Some are new and others are not. But here I am now checking out the groups of people who have a lot of information that I have used by going through the internet without joining the groups. But today I have. So, hello everyone.

Welcome. This is certainly the right place to come for good company and knowledge.  Most likely about anything you might think of has been posted or touched on in this place.  Dont be afraid to use the search function on the forum and if you still have questions most people are happy to help.

Have fun!

Welcome to the Wkc.[emoji2321]
250 rebuilds. Wow.
It sounds like you are going to be of assistance to a few people here that have yet to rebuild a Weber gasser.

Horace! I grew up in Niceville. Moved away after joining the navy. My mom and step dad live off Lancaster, my dad still has a place up in Crestview he visits during the winter. Welcome to the group!

Welcome from just south of Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.
