Craigslist Find
« on: July 20, 2020, 09:24:26 AM »
New member and new Weber owner. Posted on FB Group and was directed to this forum. Excited to join the club.

Was looking online for something decent and priced right and found this gem on Craigslist (Weber Genesis 3000 LP) . Brand new never used. I believe it's from 1998 but someone correct me if they know more. The guy told me his aunt got it 20 or so years ago when she worked at Ralph's. I thought it was  unique and the price was right ($200) for a new Weber regardless of year made. After doing more research, I'm reading that these models are some of the best they made. Any input or ideas on how I can learn more about this model is appreciated. Thanks for the add to the group

Welcome to the wkc. Sweet gasser you found there. Those are some of the best they made in my opinion. Does it have 13 flavorizer bars?

That's a beauty.
Please share with the Weber Genesis Club also if you don't mind.

Get a hold of Ralph's and offer to sell it back to them for a couple of Grand!
It would make a great centerpiece in their offices.
Seems to me it would be a shame to dirty that jewel with a cook!
