Came across this forum while researching grate upgrades. Love it when I find a gem like this! I’m kinda new to the Kettle, having bought my first one a couple of years ago. Had it at a small 2nd home as a quick and easy grill. I had no idea of the versatility. Added the Smoke n Sear last year and cooked one of the best briskets I’ve ever done! I’ve smoked for years on an offset smoker (total PITA) and got a Pit Barrel Cooker several years ago, which I love. Main grill is a built-in natural gas grill (with Grillgrates on the way), primarily because I can have it ready to cook in under 10 minutes with virtually no cleanup.
Made the 6 hour round trip drive yesterday just to get my Kettle. It sears better than gas and I want to do a comparison cook with the PBC.
