Just tried a Jamaican jerk seasoning with these burgers on the Smokey Joe,  they were good. We had great Jamaican jerk burgers in Negril a few years back but I believe they served them with a sauce.

Any recommendations on a sauce recipe for jerk burgers?

There's 2 kinds of Jerk seasoning. A dry rub that goes into the meat & a wet marinade you brush on like a BBQ sauce (sparingly, its really hot & I like hot.)
You also splash a little soy sauce on the raw burger with the dry rub.
My preferred jerk marinade is "Walkerswood spicy Jamaican." you'll probably have to go to a specialty store to find it though.

Thank you Stoneage. I used the Jamaica's Choice dry rub in the burgers I made. I will try the wet sauce suggestion as a topping sauce. I can't take to much heat anymore, but the older members of the family love it.

It's somewhere between "Volcanic" & "nukular option" use it sparingly!

Pickapeppa sauce. Its been a while since I've been to Jamaica but this stuff was on all the tables at the local restaurants (not the touristy, resort places) we visited. It has a vinegary coolness that works well with the heat of the jerk. I'm pretty sure you can get it at most large-chain grocery stores (at least pre-Covid).

Walkerswood makes a paste too...you could mix that with the meat. Another good one is Oakridge BBQ's Jah Love seasoning. I did some chicken wings with it per the instructions. They were hot...but really good.

Walkerswood paste and Pickapeppa sauce I have found at my Woodman's and at Meijer.
