Help with drip tray rails
« on: May 31, 2020, 06:46:18 AM »
Hey guys
So Iíve been working on replacing the drip tray rails that were shot on my genesis.
I couldnít even get the screws/bolts to budge so I figured Iíd just grind them off, drill some pilot holes, and replace with new screws.
Well that worked perfectly on one side. On the other, I canít even get a pilot hole drilled, let alone a new screw in.
Anyone got an idea how to deal with this?
I mean I was at the point yesterday where I was willing to try super glue, but calmer heads prevailed and my worry about toxic fumes stopped me.
Any help is appreciated, thanks!
Not the best pics but my enough to get the idea

@Dave in KC any tips ?
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

I would find a way to drill that broken screw out.
