Weber Wok
« on: April 17, 2020, 10:12:09 PM »
So I finally picked up my wok that I found on eBay earlier today.

As promised in my introduction post I would post up some photos.
The wok is around 60cm wide and sits on the rim of an 18” or 22” kettle by the brackets underneath. The brackets on this one are slightly different to the earlier model. From what the seller has told me, it was purchased in around 1990 but I can’t find anything showing a date on the box to confirm. On the box it has a price tag of $45.95AUD (if only I got it for that price now [emoji23]).

Let me know if you guys want any more photos whilst it’s still clean before I season it and give it it’s first ever use!

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Wanna see some cooks - you’ll enjoy it

Interesting, your standoffs look different than mine...

Dude, relax your chicken.

I believe that is an earlier model. I wonder if the wok dimensions are the same (width, depth). Would you mind measuring for me? I'll measure mine later today.

Cheers everyone! I don't think I'll get around to seasoning it until next weekend so I'll post some photos when I do that.

I don't know what I want to cook on it first!
