Pizza Lid
« on: April 13, 2020, 05:22:37 PM »
Got bored so i grabbed an angle/die grinder and hacked an orphaned copper lid. Not exactly laser cut but the opening turned out nice and smooth considering that i just eyeballed it without using a template or outline. Also made a handle strap along with a jumbo taco  heat shield.

I would say that was one heck of an eyeball. Looks perfectly symmetrical. Classy looking rig all the way around!

Nice work! I really like the damper handle.
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Talent......it looks like a factory accessory lid option or something.  I would have destroyed it for sure.

Just down at least couple beers or shots and you'll be ok.  Lines will always be straight and smooth.

Just takes a little practice and some patience. Though it's vital that you use the proper tool attachments.

Nice work! I really like the damper handle.
An old ceramic faucet handle with 2 bolts and a coupling nut.
