Weber Char Q vs Go anywhere charcoal
« on: April 10, 2020, 05:15:57 AM »
I am new here and full of questions.

I currently own a "go anywhere charcoal". I am very happy with it. I was looking to get some opinions from folks as to the differences in performance between the Char Q and the go anywhere charcoal. If you had to travel with one,  which one would you go with and why?

First the Char Q isn't made anymore so getting one will be hard but not to hard. The Char Q is bigger than the go anywhere but charcoal to grate distance is about the same. If you can find one get the Char Q but the go anywhere is a great grill

I can't speak to the Char Q, but the CGA packs really well in the car trunk, due to its shape and is lightweight.  You can find lots of ways to pack stuff in them too on YouTube.  Here are a couple.
