Hello From Alabama!
« on: December 11, 2019, 07:40:50 AM »
New member here, been grilling on Weber kettles as long as I can remember - started back when my hair was brown and my teeth were white.  Just upgraded a 2006 model, adding goodies like a lid hinge, gasket, new grates and thermometer along with upgraded ash can.  Also found a deal online for a new limited edition red version for cheap.  Also own a couple of Smokey Joes.

I appreciate all the info and advice I’ve seen on here and the wealth of knowledge you guys share!

Sharing some pics of a few of my grills below...

Welcome to the club!!!

Greetings from Greendale, WI.  Nice looking lineup so far.  I foresee more kettle acquisitions in your future (taking indoor pics is a major indicator[emoji23]).

Obviously looking for a Glen Blue (who isn’t?😂).

Looking for anything Happy Cooker, including any re-branded as Montgomery Ward.  I’ve amassed a nice collection, but I’m missing a few still.  Let me know if you can help a fella out🤞

Welcome from just south of Chicago, IL!
I swear, when I score a great deal on a 26" I'll stop buying grills... So often.

They're pretty neat, but there's a learning curve.  And if you have a plastic damper handle take it off first!

OH MY you are so correct!  Scored this beautiful 1975 model today.  And it was clean enough to bring inside!

Gorgeous kettle, and another good looking indoor pic[emoji106].  I’m starting to notice a theme already.  You appear to have black & red OCD like fellow member @Jebiv (a.k.a. Joey Checkers)[emoji23]

Sorry my friend...100% true.  That’s how the name Joey Checkers came about.

Ah yes, but I have a Lime Green Smokey Joe also to break the monotony!
