Wood choice for smoking..

Asian style ribs..

I had a spare rack in the freezer that I’m thawing out. I thought I’d try something a little different this time around and smoke some ribs doing an Asian type of rub/sauce. Any suggestions for what kind of wood to use for smoking?

Thanks! I think I have one or both of those "in stock" in my shed.

My favorite fruit wood followed closely by cherry.
