Cleaned and painted the screws for the end cap.

Also prepped the end caps to be painted. Just have to get the firebox ready.

Was able to work on the Weber this weekend and should be about to fire her up tomorrow. Everything is painted and mostly back together, just want to finish a few small things before I take more photos of it fully assembled. I was also able to get the high heat clear on the Weber emblem and man does it pop even more. Really happy with how everything is coming together.

Thank you both! She did well with her first cook today. Cheers

Very nice job, especially on the painting. The decal came out very top notch.

I actually picked up a Spirit 900 around the same time and restored her too. I posted about it here:

That dang propane tank scale is an interesting contraption, I'm wondering if they truly still work.

What a fun project. I ended up tossing my wood slats and used pressure treated lumber, thankfully the original handle was in solid shape.

I'm thinking those photo's of the finished grill are pornographic in nature and should be removed, but not yet, i'm going to look again !!
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Thank you so much! I'm really happy with how it came out. Not sure if the propane scale is accurate other than letting me know the tank was empty when I was firing it up for the first time and full when I got a refill. Lol.

I love the look of the wider slats. Awesome job man.

Can we mark it NSFW?

Thank you! I enjoy breaking the camera out when I can. My normal subjects as if late are beer cans, so this was a nice change. Lol
