Greetings from North Texas. I have been reading here for a while but have not posted yet. I am not a kettle collector (yet). I have been restoring Weber gas grills for a while and think it would be cool to pick up restoring kettles as well.
However really old kettles hardly ever show up for sale in my area. I think this is mainly due to the fact that in the 70s the population was only about 5% of what it is today. Most of the migration into our area started in the late 80 through 90s. So my personal kettles are newer. But I keep looking.
Maybe something pops up.
