On mine... I stained them with Minwax  Colonial maple. I liked the way the stain came out on the walnut. Then finished them with some polyurethane. The front handle, the wood grain really comes through nicely. The pictures don't do these handles justice. This shape/cut of handle is my favorite design. :)

Nice handles on that Performer! They look fantastic!

I have been using Formbys low gloss tung oil. They also make a high gloss.

I have some of Brian's handles that I bought through the TVWBB website.  I didn't know he made the handle for the table lid on the SS Performers until I found this website.  I will have to purchase one of those.  His handles are wonderful and look just like the originals.
