Ash Catcher
« on: November 10, 2018, 11:06:35 AM »
Hello all.

Was there a particular year when Weber switched from the twist on ash catcher to the clip on?

I am sure this has been asked and answered but I have searched and didn't find.

Thanks.

Thanks.  I did look at the age guide but didn't really see anything regarding the change to clip on ash tray.

I looked through the Sequential Date Code thread and they may have switched from the twist on ash pan to the clip on ash pan in 1986 (H code). I have a G code with a twistie and the H’s in this thread are pictured with a clippy.

If I am accurate, that may be a significant change to note in the age guide?
