here my latest kettle.

It's an AA coded Mastertouch "Johann Lafer Edition" black.

Wow! Very clean and beautiful! I like the "Johann Lafer Edition" logo and how the handle is in line with the lid damper.

Interesting. Did the taco handle start in EU long before the US? This is a 2011 kettle and I am surprised it has a taco handle.

I guess you are right.
The official start of the Gen2 Mastertouch was 2015.
The J. Lafer Edition you could get a way earlier (I guess started 2011 with the modern design)
It has all the features (tall, tacco) of the 2015 mastertouch.
I am not sure but I think it wasn’t called mastertouch. I remember Premium Kettle Edition.
So yes with this edition you could enjoy a tacco handle a way earlier!!
