First time country ribs
« on: June 02, 2013, 03:58:46 PM »
I've been wanting to try some country ribs on the kettle and after finding a promising process on grilling.com, today turned out to be the day.

I used Popdaddy's Butt Glitter for the rub.

Here they are at the beginning of the process.

I wanted to try saucing these so I used Sweet Baby Ray's to compliment the spiciness of the Butt Glitter.

I thought they had a nice smoke ring and a good taste for a first attemp.

I did foil them for a little bit, something I don't normally do. On the whole, not too bad at all.

The kettle continues to amaze me!

Those look good! I don't usually foil, but country ribs dry out really easily so it seems like a good decision.
