Picked up a 18 today. Had cover, an original expandable hanging rack. Some assorted kimgsford smoking chips. Looks new, wasn't used much. The hanging rack is new in the box. Looking forward to it. Going to try some fajitas this evening any advice appreciated.

Sweet find. You're going to love the bullet smoker. I think the hanging rack is out of production; bought one from Weber a year or 2 back. Used the rack for hanging sausages and ribs? Never done fajitas on the WSM but have 2 racks of ribs going right now. I double stacked to hang the ribs. Will post a current pic if I remember.

I don't think I have ever seen one double stacked like that. That would be cool. No telling how long until I see another one up for grabs. Ha ha. I'm looking forward to having some time to get used to it. It seemed to hold temp well. I'll do a couple small cooks to get used to the adjustments before I tackle a bone in or a brisket. How do you normally set your vents for low and slow?

I start with each vent about 1/4 open and the top full open. Depending on your fire and ambient temp this will put you around 225F. just tap them a little wider to hit the temp you want. I have also had success opening one bottom vent all the way and closing the other 2. Food on the top rack will cook quicker than the lower.

I just found another one for $200. It comes with an IQ 110 temp regulator kit. I'm not sure I can convince the wife I already need another.

Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

That's a great idea. Free stoker. I messaged him to see if he still has it.

Well so far so good. He came down to $150. He never got any calls on it. I'm picking it up this week.
