Get one if you like to cook whole meals or have plenty of room for food for a party. I’d really like to have a ranch although a 26” and a 22” pretty much cover all my needs.

Wrong side up tonight. Still lighting right in the vortex with folded greasy paper towels. Works like a charm. No chimney needed. Comes up to temp slow and finishes hot.

Triple meat night.

I hate admitting I like an accessory.

My ex wife didn't like accessories either so she dumped me like a char-broil!! but i like the vortex in a 26 better than a 22
Seeking a Black Sequoia I know I know, I'd settle for just the tabbed no leg grill

Lol. She is missing out on some good grilled food.

I agree. The vortex is versatile on the 26 and leaves a ton of indirect room. I think I like it upside down better. Almost the same amount of indirect since it sits tight against the side and also has a very nice usable sear area. It gets plenty hot either way.

Dang. Y'all are making me want a 26. Resistance is becoming futile.
Multiple kettles and WSM's. I am not a collector, just a gatherer... and a sick bastard.

This time hot and fast with the vortex. 2 hours 10 minutes total. 400 degrees with second hour in a wrap with no added juice then basted with sauce for 10 minutes. The wife asked “were these hot and fast”. I said yes and she told me to keep doing them this way instead of low and slow. I was kind of surprised as I thought my low and slow were really good too.
